Identification #
A whitish to light green tube lichen which does not become so browned as in many other species, especially as in the H. austerodes group. Lacking isidia but proucing soredia from labriform soralia at the lobe tips and only very rarely producing apothecia. When growing on broader surfaces it can form nice shield or rosette-shaped thalli, more irregular when on twigs and branches.
