Identification #
Most similar to Cetraria aculeata but more branched, with shortened cilia and pseudocyphellae along the margins in the form of small white dots rather than in distinct depressions (Randlane & Saag 2006). It can be a bright golden or olive color when hydrated or shaded and a dark reddish brown in sunnier sites.
