Identification #

Cetraria laevigata is an Iceland Lichen which can be green, olive, yellowish, brown, to reddish brown. Colloquially known as the “Striped Iceland Lichen” because of the more continuous pseudocyphellae on the ventral margins of the lobes. This Cetraria is typically less erratically canaliculate than others of the genus, which often have more irregularly undulating lobe margins.
