Identification #

Arctocetraria andrejevii is similar to members of the Cetraria genus. This species lacks cilia, isidia, and soredia but has some marginal pseudocyphellae. The brown thalli have lobes which terminate in flared, dilated, and rounded tips. The lobes are broader and less intricately branched than most typical specimens in Cetraria species (CLH).
