Identification #

Peltigera kristinssonii is a slatey, gray-green to brownish on the upper portions of the thalli with characteristic conspicuous, dark, flat veins in a tomentum and highly contrasting the white depressions between the veins. The central portions of the upper surface of P. kristinssonii are smoother towards the center and scabrose at the lobe tips (Brodo et al. 2001, ITALIC).
