Identification #

The more branched, knobby, and most abundantly fertile member of the Dactylina genus. With a conspicuous pruina over most specimens. May be somewhat webby in cross section (Brodo et al. 2001).

Notes #

A ubiquitous species in Alaska except roughly from the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge and the Alaska Peninsula southwest to the Aleutians and also without collections from the Bering Sea Islands.
